Our recent newly-found cousin is Geoff Mander and his wife, Marie. They live in Australia and are from the David Ridge Mander line. More, hopefully will follow in the next few weeks/months...

ACROSS THE HEMISPHERES !

Sue Adamson (Australia) visited the UK in April 2008 and met up with 3rd cousins Tim Mander and Pat Morton (nee Mander).

Sue and her husband John stopped off in the UK to meet with Tim Mander (the day after landing) and Pat Morton (to stay a couple of days).

At Pat's home, Sue and John met up with Pat's son, also John, and his wife Nicola.

The talking never stopped and everyone got on famously. This visit was amazing, as Sue had been emailing the UK for about 7 years but this was their first oportunity to actually meet.

Pat's first words to Sue were, 'Oh ! Auntie Hilda' (George Thomas Ridge Mander's sister). Pat swears that Sue is VERY like her.
